Perot Museum Earns SITES Certification

“The Perot Museum of Nature and Science has earned SITES certification at the one-star rating!”

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science, a product of a 25-year effort by broad cross sections of the Dallas community, is among 12 projects to recently receive SITES Certification. The museum, built with entirely private funds, has become a Dallas landmark, and garnered national and international attention. The Perot is situated on a 4-acre site at the gateway of Hillwood’s Victory development in downtown Dallas and sitting at the juncture of Uptown, Downtown, the West End and Arts District. The building was designed by Pritzker Prize Winner Thom Mayne, with GFF serving as local architect, sustainability consultant and a variety of other roles. Talley Associates served as the Landscape Architect on the project.
