GFF is pleased to announce that Associate Jacquelyn Block, AIA, has been promoted to Studio Director for the Church Works Studio. The growth and success of the studio, combined with Jacquelyn’s 12+ years of experience with faith-based and educational clients make her the perfect person to lead this wonderful group of 16 and manage the studio’s day-to-day operations.

Jacquelyn’s projects have won several design awards including the 2016 Worship Facilities Solomon Award, Texas Construction Magazine’s Best Architectural Design in 2010 and Outstanding Project from Learning by Design in 2012. Jacquelyn is a graduate of the AIA Emerging Leaders program, has participated as a design jurist at The University of Texas at Arlington and volunteers with several local organizations.

GFF Principal Stephen Pickard, AIA, NCARB will remain as the faith-based Practice Leader providing 35 years of architectural experience and 18 years of developing a national practice specializing in the design of church and faith-based facilities. His primary responsibilities will include focusing on client relations, initial project design and “Principal-in-Charge” duties for the studio’s 25 active projects.
