GFF Promotions 2015

GFF is pleased to announce our recent promotions. Todd Burtis, AIA and Russell Hagg, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB were named Associate Principals. In total, 26 architects, intern architects, interior designers, planners and administrative professionals were promoted in a record-breaking year for the firm.

Burtis, a graduate of Texas Tech University and The Real Estate Council’s Associate Leadership Council class of 2013, began his career with GFF in 2004. Over the last 11 years, Burtis has been responsible for the design of projects that include office, mixed use, multi-family and retail.

“I have always felt fortunate to be a member of the GFF family,” Burtis said. “I have been blessed with tremendous opportunities in this office and I am grateful to work with such a talented group. I look forward to what the future has in store.”

Russell Hagg has more than 18 years of professional experience covering a wide range of project types.  His ability to find strong solutions to difficult design challenges has made him a valuable asset to GFF.

“I am proud to be part of a great firm that always brings innovative approaches to projects,” Hagg said.

While he is active in the architectural professional organizations, he also serves on the Board of Directors of Literacy Instruction for Texas (LIFT), a Dallas based non-profit.

Further promotions included the following: promoted to Associate was Mark S. Bowles, ASLA, RLA. Loren Boynton was promoted to Design/Visualization Leader. Laura Eder, AIA, LEED AP, GGP, Dean Hageman, RA, Jeremy Roehr, AIA, LEED Green Associate, Hayley Smithhart, LEED AP and John Womble, AIA were named Project Leaders. Jillian Kohl was promoted to Marketing Leader.  Promoted to Senior Project Coordinator were Tyler Cini, Associate AIA, Taylor Coleman, Jay Dreiling, AIA, NCARB, LEED Green Associate, Ryan Flener and Arklie Levi Hooten. Justin Sparks, ASLA, RLA was promoted to Senior Landscape Coordinator. Taylor Catalano was promoted to Senior Administrative Coordinator. New Project Coordinators include Nick Baumgarten, Jeanmarie Brienza, Jillian Brooks, Adam Fenner, Joshua Frederick, Jason Hoyt, Associate AIA, Samuel Mortimer, RA and Kelsey Vusich. Emily Noble was promoted to Administrative Coordinator.
