GFF is proud to begin 2018 with the celebration and announcement of our recent promotions. The group consists of 29 of the firm’s talented and dedicated architects, interior designers, planners, landscape architects and operational staff members.
Mark Bowles, ASLA was named Studio Director of GFF Landscape. Jacquelyn Block, AIA, LEED AP, Philip DeLaughter, Steven Hauk, AIA, LEED AP, Kent D. Pontious, AIA, LEED AP, Mike I. Reyes, AIA and Jonathan Wood, AIA, LEED AP were named Associate Principals.
As Studio Director for GFF Landscape, Mark Bowles manages a studio of five landscape architects while helping to set the creative approach for large, multidisciplinary projects and overseeing the studio’s business development and financial operations. Jacquelyn Block has over 12 years of experience with faith-based and educational clients leading a group of 17 designers in GFF’s Church Works Studio. As Director of IT Services, Philip DeLaughter manages the IT infrastructure at GFF’s Dallas and Fort Worth offices, and is an outside IT consultant to other small firms. Steven Hauk is a Project Architect focused on multifamily, student housing and mixed-use projects, leading the coordination and documentation of projects from design through construction. As a registered architect and LEED Accredited Professional, Kent Pontious leads teams with a focus on multifamily and municipal projects. Michael Reyes is a licensed architect with over 21 years of experience on a multitude of large complex mixed-use urban developments, retail lifestyle centers, transportation facilities and recreational facilities. Jonathan Wood leads high density urban multifamily, mixed use and master planning assignments for GFF Planning.
Promoted to Associate were Sara Good, Nardine Mansi, AIA, LEED AP and Jeremy M. Roehr, AIA, NCARB.
Sara Good has over 10 years of experience in large scale mixed use and multifamily projects, auto dealerships, recreational and entertainment projects. As a Project Architect, Nardine Mansi has a breadth of experience designing healthcare, institutional and educational projects with a current focus on corporate retail projects. As a Registered Architect in GFF’s Church Works Studio, Jeremy Roehr leads education and worship facility projects while assisting with business development in the faith-based market sector.
Additional promotions included the following: promoted to Project Leader were Idaliza Camacho, AIA, NCARB, Taylor Catalano, Rodman Ricketts, RA, Justin Sparks, ASLA and Blake Thames, AIA. Promoted to Senior Coordinator were Jillian Brooks, RA, Reagan Compton, Assoc. IIDA, Josh Frederick, RA, Emily Noble, John Roche, RA, Marissa Tang, RID, IIDA, Mariah Trevizo, Jamie Wallace and Ryan Wilson, RA. Promoted to Project Coordinator were Vicente Carrasco, Jason Fedors, Farris Groth, Alex Martin and Gavin Newman.
