As a designated City of Dallas historic landmark, the renovation of Saint Paul United Methodist Church is the final jewel in the crown of the Dallas Arts District. GFF first completed a programming and feasibility study for the restoration and rehabilitation of Saint Paul, and then provided exhibits for use in a capital campaign, before providing design and construction documents.
The exterior of the building will be stabilized and restored, and an elevator added to improve accessibility to the handicapped. The historic configuration of the sanctuary will be maintained and original finishes restored, while adding new functional elements. The fellowship hall, welcome center and administrative suite will be fully reconfigured to better meet the needs of the congregation.
Construction was completed in May 2010.
