Located in a secluded neighborhood near White Rock Lake, this 500-student Episcopal school has a reputation of academic excellence, artful inspiration and spiritual values. The master plan developed for the 10-acre, creekside campus promotes growth, improves traffic circulation and enhances the natural setting for learning. Phase One of the master plan landed a new two-story, 45,000 SF building for art, science and a library while replacing obsolete classrooms. Pre-K through 5th grade are to be housed in the new building along with indoor recreational areas, a lower school commons and new parish offices. A particular challenge of the plan was to design for the new building to intersect the original O’Neil Ford sanctuary in a way that would preserve the integrity of both designs.
