So 7 is a multi-phase planned community south of 7th Street and adjacent to Trinity Park in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, including luxury townhomes and condominiums, a hotel, senior housing, and this new mixed use component just beginning construction.
Our client’s objective was to create a warm, appropriately scaled village of buildings which would appear to have grown naturally over time. Each building has retail and restaurant uses fronting externally and toward newly created internal streets. Two of the buildings have condominiums on four upper floors, with great views overlooking Trinity Park and Downtown Fort Worth. One of the buildings has two floors of office above the retail.
The architectural style is a modernized version of Santa Barbara style, with stucco trimmed in stone and blue tile roofs, a palette with appropriate precedents in Fort Worth’s historic neighborhoods and comfortable in the hot Texas sun.
