John Womble is an Associate Principal with GFF, Inc

Mr. Womble has over 16 years of professional and volunteer leadership experience. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2000, and joined GFF Architects in 2012. His primary focus at GFF has been high density urban multi-family, student housing, senior living, and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) projects. Before joining GFF, John worked as the Senior Project Manager for a small local firm where he developed a diverse experience in the education, corporate, religious, commercial, municipal, multi-family, student housing and high-end residential markets. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is licensed to practice in Texas.

John has been responsible for all phases of design and construction including master planning, programming, schematic design, construction documents, material selections, graphics, interior design, construction administration and LEED certification. With each project John brings a commitment to high quality design by working to enhance the building and the client’s objectives with his creativity, experience and design influences. He was named an Associate Principal and Studio Director in 2016.
