Mr. Andersen received a Master of Architecture degree from The University of Texas – Arlington in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin. During the pursuit of his degrees, he won numerous academic awards and augmented his experience and training with extensive overseas travel, including an extended period where he lived and worked in Europe. He has worked on a variety of projects throughout Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, as well as projects outside the state and in Canada. His projects have won several awards, and he has proven to be a valuable asset to GFF.
With GFF since 1997, Chris has honed his extensive expertise in both the public and private sectors, focusing on institutional and religious facilities. Projects have included both new construction and renovation/rehabilitation, and have been successfully completed within a wide range of cost per square foot budgets. Chris prides himself in creating closely allied design and construction teams that work together to deliver noteworthy buildings which fulfill the client’s pragmatic and visionary goals. His high profile assignments include First Assembly of God Church, Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, and New River Fellowship church. He is an Associate Principal at GFF.
